A Message from VoiceQuilt Founder, Hope Flammer

Dear VoiceQuilt Friends, Customers and Partners:

I can hardly believe VoiceQuilt is celebrating its first anniversary. In just one short year, we've grown from a fledgling concept into an award-winning business.

Thanks to your support, VoiceQuilt has collected nearly 10,000 voice messages of encouragement, well wishes, greetings, celebration and more. Our post-purchase surveys show that 100% of customers would refer a friend. And we are very gratified by this success.

But VoiceQuilt isn't about numbers. It never has been. It's personal.

Each VoiceQuilt tells its own story. Sometimes we learn the story because a customer gives us permission to listen to their VoiceQuilt. Sometimes we hear it directly because of a phone call or e-mail. For us, these are the moments that count.

For instance, Marissa, a military spouse, sent a VoiceQuilt to her husband who had just been deployed to Iraq for a third time. She wrote to tell us how touched he was by the sound of his young son trying to say “Dad”.

Jim e-mailed us to tell us how much he treasures the VoiceQuilt his wife gave him for their wedding anniversary. He called again a few months later to share that his mother, who contributed a message to the anniversary VoiceQuilt, had unexpectedly died. He is so grateful for the sound of her voice marking such a happy occasion.
