For National Breast Cancer Awareness month, VoiceQuilt has created a new  product and is sponsoring a  contest donation. Here are a few other ways to support breast cancer awareness.

1.) Stock up with athletic gear that benefits breast cancer awareness: a Susan B. Komen pedomenter, Oakley Special Edition sunglasses or a pink ribbon vest that funds mammograms for women in need.

2.) When shopping for your next hostess gift, select Tervis Tumblers, notecards or cosmetic bags that support breast awareness.

3.) Walk to raise money for breast cancer awareness. Or, find a race near you and cheer walkers on!

If you’re female and over 40, the most important way to honor the month is to schedule your own annual mammogram. Just get it in the calendar. Remember. The best way to beat this disease is to catch it early. Please.  Go ahead and do it now.
