If you are pressed for time, be sure to follow these tips from our customers.
1.) If you're mailing a party invitation, include VoiceQuilt instructions!
2.) Get the help of an insider.
- If the Voice Quilt is for your Mom, ask Dad to secure Mom's address book and call you with names and phone numbers.
- If the Voice Quilt is for your daughter, send an e-mail invitation to her best friend. Ask the friend to forward it on – either by e-mail or instant message.
- If the Voice Quilt is for your spouse, contact one colleague at work. Ask for help – and be sure to tell them that the e-mail invitation can be used by multiple callers.
3.) Piggyback off of another event.
- When Bekki was creating a birthday VoiceQuilt for her Great Aunt, she made everyone at Thanksgiving dinner call in and leave messages.
- Julie knew that all her cousins would be together for July 4th and she asked her closest cousin to make sure that everyone called in after the fireworks.
- Sandi called a cousin on a family vacation cruise – and asked her to have everyone else call in with messages while in port.
