As Barbara and Jerry's 50th Wedding Anniversary approached, their daughter, Alison, and her sisters searched for a way their parents' many friends and family members across the country could help celebrate this milestone event. Many would be able to attend the planned anniversary party in person, but many would not. VoiceQuilt provided the perfect solution.

Each anniversary party invitation included an insert card asking the recipient to please create a VoiceQuilt message as a surprise gift for the happy couple. The printed invitation with easy-to-follow instructions made the process simple for all involved. Even those who planned to make a toast at the party enjoyed being able to record a greeting with the option of erasing and re-recording it, if they wished.

When the big day arrived, the VoiceQuilt was presented to Barbara and Jerry. Nearly 50 messages from friends from all phases of their lives were heard. It was a wonderful way for those closest to them to participate and send their very best wishes. Alison even tucked a photo from Barbara and Jerry's wedding day, 50 years earlier, into the beautiful VoiceQuilt keepsake box.
