Vicki lives in Michigan but regularly tunes in online to Monica Ricci’s Organization Nation radio show on Radio Sandy Springs in Atlanta.  Monica had recommended VoiceQuilt as a holiday gift and Vicki had been intrigued…

“My granddaughter, Sarah, who lives in Atlanta, has several favorite books that I always read to her when she visits me in Michigan.  I wondered if it was possible to make a VoiceQuilt of me reading those books to her."

Of course it was possible – and easy, too!  Over the next two weeks, Vicki read Sylvester and the Magic Pebble, Green Eggs and Ham and other favorites.  Her husband read The Little Engine That Could; while their daughter, Sarah’s mom, read Are you my Mother?  By the end of two weeks, the family had recorded 18 children's stories.  They interspersed these recordings with personal messages to Sarah in honor of her seventh birthday.

Vicki wrote to us after Sarah's birthday VoiceQuilt was delivered.  "The Voice Mail (as my granddaughter calls it!) was a huge hit.  Thank you!"
